Original paintings by Oded Feingersh
Oded Feingersh has been a noteworthy figure in Israel's
fine arts scene since the early 1970s. After developing his technique
in France and Belgium in the 1960s, Mr. Feingersh returned to Israel
and established some degree of notoriety for his frequently dark and
troubled drawings and sketches. Since the 1980s, Feingersh has developed
a loving relationship with color and landscape, and in doing so sees
himself as moving closer to the authentic roots of indigenous Israeli
art. In his most recent collection of works, some of which are reproduced
below, Feingersh exploresthe love affair between a people and its
land, and how that often takes on political aspects.
The pieces presented below are divided between some
of Oded Feingersh's most recent work, and
earlier landscapes that borrow many stylistic elements from his more
youthful output. Many of the pieces pictured below are available for
purchase, and some reproductions may be available as well. Contact
Redemption Media for more information on these and other pieces by
Oded Feingersh.
Original paintings are priced from $1200.
